Training at Home with eTraining

Hope you are well & adjusting to new circumstances. The change and upheaval we have seen over the last 2 weeks has been rapid, dramatic and widespread. Each of us has been affected in different ways but together we have all had to make significant changes to help stop the spread of COVID-19. For many, one of the hardest daily challenges is no more gym. We all train to stay healthy, fit and strong (and look good!) but also to keep our mind and emotions on an even keel. Without the support provided by regular exercise our thoughts, moods and behaviours can start to change. Taking a walk outside is great, but its not the same as a hard gym session. Some people have taken the opportunity to hire some of our equipment to help with their own training. Others have decided to just stay at home and avoid even walking outside. Whatever your situation we want to help you continue to exercise and make the most of your situation, space and equipment availability. To do this we have launched our telehealth eTraining program.

eTrainining

eTraining is our remote program providing you with health, exercise, nutrition & lifestyle support. This allows us to reach you wherever you are in the world via telehealth.  eTraining is made up of two components: free content available for you to download or watch right now and eCoaching consultations.

eCoaching Consultations

eCoaching consultations take place remotely via video. Here we can meet, assess, plan, deliver and review from the comfort of your own home. 

Here are just a few of the areas where we can provide expert coaching and support:

  • tailored home exercise programs with lots, little or no equipment

  • coaching and accountability to help you stay on track with your exercise

  • coping with Corona - physical/mental health & wellbeing

  • exercise rehabilitation for injuries and other conditions

  • nutrition & lifestyle management

  • decreasing joint stiffness, tightness & improving mobility/flexibility

  • home/office ergonomics and postural correction

We deliver eCoaching sessions through our partner, MO+ (the Wellness clinic at the front of the gym). They have a new telehealth eWellness initiative which we are part of and which gives us the tools to deliver our eCoaching sessions.

eWorkouts

eWorkouts are free workouts that you can watch and start right now. We want these to be as useful as possible for most people, so these workouts can all be done with no equipment - all you need is some space and for some, a phone or watch for timing. The exercises are simple bodyweight exercises, no advanced knowledge required. They are put together in a format that is easy to follow but still challenging. We are also providing some exercise progression videos to help you choose the best version of different exercises for you. Each workout comes with a downloadable pdf workout plan for you to follow, along with an instructional video.
